Desparate Man Blues
This is so cool. Just watching Joe do "air slide guitar" in the beginning is worth the price of admission.
My wife got me a Decca portable antique crank box with a single petroleum pie of Woody Herman. She thought it could play my hundreds of 45's, not knowing it was for 78rpm slate shingles only. The arm must weigh a pound and the needle would work on a sewing machine, but some of the crackling sounds that come off those stacks of wax flapjacks are like music finally reaching us from a better planet.
