Generally, Nick's articles are depressing. I find that I have to force myself to read them, and I'm very glad I do. While there's not much that we can do at this point, it's probably good to be aware of the problem. I've always thought that biology would be the thing to get us - not unlike 12 Monkeys, or the Andromeda Strain.
