The End of Humanity is the private blog of David Bartz for his friends. I have no delusions of grandeur here. This is just a convenience for my friends so I don't forward crap to their email box unwanted. Why the End of Humanity? Because that's where were headed if we stupid humans don't wise up.
I don't know what to say... we have gross incompetence surrounding us. I only hope that it will improve under the new administration. But I'm not hopeful given the incentives.
Gosh, Dave, all I did was read the first two pages of this lengthy article to come up with the conclusion that business done on Wall St. is not done because people were stupid/ignorant/unaware and simply made mistakes.
This was all PLANNED. Why do you think they got away with it from the SEC? If the SEC wasn't in on the scheme, they would have stopped it in it's tracks.
Nine years is too long for someone to "warn" the SEC that some investor is a fraud. Come on, something's behind their ignoring other people's warnings as well.
I think the stock market is a big fraud, just like the casinos. Casinos wouldn't be in business if everyone won big so they let a few people win just to whet the appetites of the many who lose. Well, it's just about the same in the market where insiders can/do manipulate the numbers on paper and off.
Think about it, long and hard. If the market weren't profitable for a few, the many wouldn't bother trying to get there themselves. I'm just so sorry I ever partook in the frenzy myself. Thank god I'm all out of it now and no longer have to worry about who'd going to take my retirement away from me. Laila
